Friday 4th July, with Ian McMaster. An ELTAU in-person workshop exploring microskills for improving international communication.
Thursday 12th June, with James Dowling. An ELTAU ‘fireside’ exploring the use of realia in online classes.
Saturday 12 April Workshop with Andy Leal. Nearly two-thirds of adults lack confidence, with a third stating this affects their mental health and well-being. This workshop will argue that confidence, as such, is a skill that can be developed. We will explore ways to do just this and examine techniques to overcome blocks to performance – both our own and those of our students.

Saturday 8 June 10:00 – 12:00 online workshop with Hugh Dellar. In this classroom-rooted session we’ll be looking at the things that make good listeners good: knowing language, hearing the language you know, and the ability to automatically match meaning to sounds. We’ll explore practical examples of how we can develop these skills through our choice of input through micro listening tasks and much more.
